Hi Kim and Channing!!! How does it feel to be back in Beijing?? How is everyone doing? I have been trying to keep up with all of the blogs, I just love following everyone's journey! I am sorry to hear that Channing is still greiving so hard, but happy to hear that she is also attaching to you - that is great news! She is so very beautiful! Take care and please pass along my best wishes to everyone in Beijing! Amy
Kim- you are one stroooong woman! Keep it up, you are doing SO well! I'm glad to hear that Channing is having periods of happiness amidst her grieving. Thank you for being so honest about it....others may have to face this one day too and it is important to let people know the truth, that the children need to grieve. Continuing to pray for you all,Janet
Sounds and looks like it was a very interesting day, thanks for sharing all the photos. Wow it is big group now. Again I am so glad that you have your family and your travel buddies AND Yulin with you. Happy to hear that each day Channing grows closer to you I cant imagine how hard it is for you when she cries I know that you must want to hold and take all her pain away. You are doing wonderfully you are an amazing mommy. I hope that you can get in contact with Channings friends families once they are adopted.
I see Aidan!! :) Love the pics!!
As I teach about attachment, I have to say on a good note, although hard I am sure, she is grieving which is sooooo positive, it means she had something/someone to grieve for. You are in such a surreal experience Kim meeting your daughter and having to treck through China!! You seem to be handling it so well!!!!!I am sure once you are in the peace and quiet of your own home that Channing will then be able to start focusing on you (not new places etc) and the bonding will grow and grow. Kim, she is simply beautiful! I am thrilled for you!
