What a rough day. I am so sorry to hear that. I'm glad that you have family there and that you are able to call Yulin as well. Hopefully as the week progresses there will be more happy momements than sad.
Hugs! Take things as they come. It sounds hard but you are doing great.Channing is soo pretty! And a quick learner.Keep smilin!
Little steps at a time slowly shes comming around each day will be a surprize.. What size of clothing is Channing? Love the pic of her smiling sitting with you WOW shes beautiful.Hug n Kisses
Oh, Kim! How difficult for you! Please keep hanging in there....it will get easier. Nothing but my love and support coming your way. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Hang in there. She WILL come around! Thinking of you!!!!!
((hugs)) Kim. It will get better and you're doing a GREAT job! Step by step, moment by moment.Learning that she was probably in foster care helps to understand her grieving even more. Poor little lamb. So much change in her little life.Big hugs friend. You're already showing what a wonderful mom you are. You're meeting Channing where she is and letter her know you're right there beside her. Love the picture of her sleeping half off the bed with her shoes on. As long as she was comfortable and sleeping that's what matters.((hugs)) and prayers.
Hey Kimmy,You are doing a fabulous job!!!!! I am soooo proud of you and your patience - Channing is a lucky little girl! She is also the cutest - I love that she is a true girly girl - you go girl Channing!!! How's your mom and dad? It looks like you guys are "loving" the humidity!! We love seeing all of the pictures - keep them coming!Oh, just to let you know I am having trouble finding someone to work for me on the 23rd, but I am still working on it. I'll keep you posted. I have to meet Channing!!!!!Luv ya,Krista :)
Thinking about you as Channing struggles to adjust to her new life. This to shall pass....hugs to ya!
Channing is so beautiful! Congratulations and it sounds like you're doing a fantastic job as a new mommy!
Kim, this must be incredibly hard for you (and Channing, ofcourse). I'm praying for you and Channing...with each passing day things will improve for sure. Hugs to you both.
Oh, you are sooo blessed even if you have the odd day in the beginning that is a little hard you will have so many wonderful days in the future. I started to cry when I read that she said that she loves you.......wow...those three words must have turned your heart into mush! Beautiful photo's. The one where you are saying where did Channing go you have what looks like a glow around your entire body, could have been just the lense on the camera but I choose to believe that that is the glow of a VERY HAPPY MOMMY. Blessings to you....dreams do come true....thanks for showing me that.Velcro Hugs
Swimming, bubbles, rides and McDonalds - A perfect day!!I know that you will be doing whatever you can to make Channings adjustment go as smooth as possible!
Kim, I think you are doing a magnificent job and Channing is beautiful! Honestly, with all of my heart, I believe that her grieving is the best thing that could be happening though it is excruciating for you. I look foward to watching your progress and I have faith that she will only become more confident and sure each day.
I hope you have a better day tomorrow - that's great that Channing is already telling you that she loves you - she has gone through a lot of change - no wonder she is hesitant to accept you as permanent. I hope you are having a good sleep!
Kim, wow this must be an overwhelming time for both of you, but trust in Yulin, she knows what she's talking about! Poor little thing, it must be pretty difficult for both of you! Hang in there Kim, I think gradually things will get better and then just click! I'm glad you have your parents there for support! Take care!
Kim,You are doing such a wonderful job (as Catherine wrote) and I think that you are beyond brave. Channing is getting to know and trust you and it must be so exhausting for the two of you (and your parents) to go through all of this and be so far away at the same time.Rest well and know that we are thinking about you and hoping that things fall into place.
The pictures of the two of you together brought tears to my eyes. Just beautiful!!! What a journey you are on together. The little steps to becoming a family are so precious yet difficult. Thank you for sharing your experiences so honestly and openly. You are amazing!!
Congratulations! Catherine has a link to your blog... couldn't resist popping in ~ I've got a bit of a "thing" for "In China" stories!!! Channing is just beautiful! Congratulations!
Hugs & Luvs for you my friend and for Channing. The photo of the 2 of you with her smiling is so precious. Day by day she is going to grieve less and love more, you and your family are doing a wonderful job. I am so happy that you have been able to talk to Yulin. When Channing said she loved you, (sniff), oh my goodness what a moment that must have been for you, one you will carry with you forever, just know my friend that you are going to have many many more wonderful moments with your precious daughter.
You wiped her out!!! SHe is so beautiful. Congratulations!!Yoli
Hi Kim!! The pictures are great! Channing is such a sweetie pie, I am sure that she will start to adjust very soon - hang in there - three year olds have a mind of their own! I think that you are off to Beijing today? I bet that you are looking forward to some cooler temps and a few more familiar faces! Take care,Amy
I am sure as things calm down (i.e. once you are home) she'll feel calmer and begin to settle more. The pictures are amazing and wonderful!
