Day 3- Beijing

What a great day!!! All I can say is this city is moving!! We had a great day. Covered lots of miles by both taxi and walking. All I can say is after our taxi rides today I'm so thankful that I am hear to write about it!!! Tomorrow I will video one of our taxi trips to share the RIDE......it is crazy!! All we do in the cab is giggle and scream!!!

First off this morning we went to the "dirty" market. I have never experienced so many people in my life!!! We were there for hours and didnt even see 1/4 of the market. I guess they have it daily, but its bigger on the weekends. I bought a few things, but its so overwhelming that you dont know what to buy or how much to pay.

After we were done there we came back to the hotel, dropped of stuff off then went walking around our hotel. Dropped into Mc Donalds for lunch, which tasted so GOOD!!!! After that we wanted to go to Walmart to buys strollers for the kids. What an episode that was trying to tell the bellman where we wanted to go. Finally we had to phone Yulin to get them to talk Chinese to them. Well Walmart is HUGE!!! They have a sign posted that no pictures are allowed so I cant even show you how big it is inside. It was a memorable trip!!!!


We went out for Chinese supper again. It was awesome!! So many dishes and all were too good!! Yulin is an amazing guide and knows how to order for us!!! Nothing was moving on the plate so that was good....LOL!!!


After we were done supper we walked over to a park. They have it all lite up at night, so it was beautiful just to unwind and enjoy a BREEZE!!!

Well thats its for tonight. I'm off to soak in the tub and then to bed!!!! Ohh......we had our first squatty potty experience today!!!!
