Now here is the kitchen after I painted (sorry I didnt take a good picture, but you can see part of a cupboard paitned).
Well after living in the house for nearly 8 months I decided it was TIME. The kitchen was a total EYE SORE and a usless. The layout was terrible and I had no room to do anything. Soooo.....here is the kitchen today.
And here is poor Channing's room. Thank god I had that room to use as storage. It is completly full and also I had to store stuff in my room and the living room. You sure dont know how much junk you have in your cupboards until you have to clear them out!!!

OMG - It's a HUGE project - but it'll be so worth it when you are finished.
Can't wait to see the new kitchen !!!Lisa
Wow - I can't wait to see that get finished. Torn up houses get REALLY old in a short time.My mess should be ending, at last, this week!
I love your kitchen! Very nice! You DO have a big project in front of you! At least you know you have lots of time to work at it! :)
You are a brave woman to live through a kitchen reno!! Good luck and looking forward to the 'after' pictures!!

Can't wait to see the finished product and it will be worth the mess in the end!
You're an awefully brave girl for taking on a kitchen reno just three weeks before Christmas (don't you have enough to do?!) Can't wait to see the finished product!
Wow!!!! It is great that you can do it now before Channing is running around, taking everything out of your packed boxes!!! One good thing about kitchen renos (we did a few ourselves this summer), you get to eat out!!! Have fun.
Kim what a project your undertook, well done you! Yes, I so agree, the amount of things (errr junk! lol) we all store in cupboards is terrible. Can't wait to see your plans for the nursery!
Wow, I thought the kitchen looked great after you painted it...I can't wait to see what you do with it!
Have fun with the reno! -not! :( That is one thing I had to do when I bought my house, before moving in. The cabinets were - guess what - lime green!! and about 55 years old!
yikes!!! You look even busier than me!!I love the colors you had painted after the green!! Are you going to keep those in the new re-do??Miss you!! I'm on my friends computer tonight as I'm babysitting for her!! I hope to have my high speed back soon!!!Love Dawnhttp://www.4boys2love.blogspot.com
Well, let me just say, "I feel your pain." We bought a "fixer upper" a year and half ago. We have gutted and redone the kitchen...completely, replaced most of the flooring, painted alllll the walls. We've been holding off on the bathrooms, which desperately need a redo, but fate has decided it's time now, as a pipe burst under the floor and has flooded half of our living room and our bathroom. So, today we rip up floors and walls in the bathroom. My Christmas tree will have to find a new location. Oh, and did I mention, the water leaked under the wood floors we put in a year ago. Well, we got a good deal on the house, and we're in the process of adopting again, so it's helped to have a low house payment, but this is not going to be cheap.
