I have along way before travel...do you offer crash courses before travel???It's fun to say and practice, but I'll never remember.Thank heavens your not on Beta...it's such a pain!
I LOVE the Chinese Lesson!! Thanks for sharing!! I will stay tuned for more lessons!!
Kim,Great lesson. Now you'll have to figure out how to add audio sounds to your blog. I would love to practice Chinese with you so that you don't lose what you learn and so I can learn, too. Start learning now; don't be a chicken!I talked to my mother-in-law yesterday, and she said that she has Channing's name translated for you. She said she'll give it to me when we see them over the Christmas season.
That's awesome! Thank you for sharing! I need that book too!!!
Kim thats super. I speak some Cantonese but would love to learn Mandarin as well. If I was closer I'd want those lessons with you! I can finally comment - yippee! I switched to beta so now I am comment. Yippee. Look out for my blog this weekend, I have some news that I will post about.

Thanks for the lesson! Too bad we don't live near any available courses. You'll just have to keep us going with your posts!
You're a good teacher! Keep the lessons coming! I keep my "Learning Chinese" book in the car and pull it out whenever I am waiting to pick up my husband, etc.
THanks Kim! THose are great tips! I will have to write this stuff down.....so much to do....no time at all!
I love the way that Mandarin sounds!! Thanks for the quickie lesson and the beautiful Christmas card!!!
I just found your blog while I was surfing around a bit. It's great! We are in the process of adopting from China. What a roller coaster ride it has been!
Thanks for sharing:)Howz the kitchen coming along? Howz the quilt looking?
Thanks for the pronunciation guide, now if only all of the Chinese teachers are like you, I might just maybe (alright highly unlikely, but there is still hope) learn some Chinese yet (hopefully Chynna won't be too judgmental of her Mommy botching her language).
