I haven't tried it, but someone else made a comment on their blog that when they switched they somehow lost their old blog. I don't know if they made the mistake or if something screwed up with blogger. I haven't had the nerve to try after reading that!
I've heard the same thing as tracey & mike - so I haven't switched yet - I was waiting for the bugs to be worked out.
You have to go into the comment section and click on Anonymous before typing yoru comment. Seems to work for me.It is a pain!!!
Don't switch! Go back to my site and read the comments....I've learned alot through the emails also.
I've run into the same problem and it's frustrating b/c there are families that I've followed and commented to for a while and now I can't. Another friend of mine lost her entire blog and had to start over. So my advice...if it ain't broke don't fix it. Stick with the regular blogger. I still don't see the advantage of Beta.
You know, blogger kind of forced me to go Beta last week. I really didn't like it at first but now I can get around on other people's blogs much better...and I can publish much faster. I don't know if this helps you or not... but it's my current experience! :-)
I'm not sure about switching either -- I don't want to lose the blog I have now -- I guess I should print everything just in case, to keep a record of this!Cari
mine has been okay, I did have a problem for a while trying to get some photos uploaded, but other than that nothing. Now I'm sure I will be plagued with issues for saying that! Touch wood!

I too have been debating the 'switch'. I can't leave comments on any site that is Beta...I don't know what to do about the comments thing!I DEFINATELY feel your pain!!
I haven't changed and I HATE not being able to comment on a lot of the blogs eaither!I'm going to wait it out a bit and see what the big deal is??!!

Well, I just started this blogging thing and I've always used beta. I'm not sure what the difference between it and the older form is, but I have not had a hitch so far!Until now- when I just tried to log-in to my account-LOL!! That's why I'm anonymous... too funnyCarolyn W.
I switched by mistake. I've had no issues until this last week with people being able to post. I put a note on my blog of what someone recommended to do if you are not with Beta. When I switched it took 2 seconds and it was done - didn't lose a thing. Loading the pictures and posting is really really fast too.
That SUCKS! Don't go to the dark side of Beta.....we did it and I REGRET it! YUCK YUCK YUCK!
Hi KimWe switched to beta and have had no real issues except in the begining when trying to post to non-beta blogs. I really like the new templates they are supper easy to edit and I have had no issues. I would say check it out and switch it won't cause too much work to save your current blog elements.Merry ChristmasLiam and Sherry-Lou
