.......that's what I requested. I did request a female between 6 months and 24 months, so its so hard to picture what my girl will look like. Will she have spiky hair or pony tails, chubby cheeks or dimples?? Like I said, its time to give her a name. I also want to order her Baby Book and have her name on it, and order her name in letters to hang in her room. But most of all I just want to say her name instead of my baby or my daughter.
So I want to have some fun here. I was going to do a baby poll, but since Connie had some problems after she posted a poll to her blog, I didnt want to take a risk of blog problems. Please leave me a comment of your favourite name I picked out, and also if you have any suggestions for me. These are my "TOP 3" names so far. I really wanted a different name as well one that sounds kind of Chinese.
Names: 1) Markie 2) Channing 3) Jetta
Her middle name will be her Chinese 1st name. I will also add YANG to her Chinese name after Kelly (who was like an Uncle to me). He lived & passed away in China. Kelly lived in China for a few years while designed the Sang YANG Golf Course... so in memory of him she will have YANG as part of her middle name. YANG also means "SUN" in Chinese. And of course her last name will be mine!!!!!
So let me know what you think and I will post her name in the next week once I decide 100%.

I really like Channing. Pretty cool, different, but not too different and it goes good with Yang. Channing Yang
I go for Channing too. Different, but still pretty.
Channing, definitely, Channing. I am calling her Channing already :0)It screams: this is the name for my girl!Love it.
I'm going with the group, so far, and going with Channing. Jetta still reminds me too much of the car. I think Markie is cute, but you have to also think about her name as an adult woman -- is Markie too "cutsie"? This is so exciting!! They become way more real once you name them! Cari (future mom to Jordyn)
Definitely Channing!!!! I Love it and agree with the other comments.Sincerely, Jennifer
Uh-Oh!! I loved "Jetta" right away!!!It's strong and beautiful all in one!!Yesterday I met a 1 wk old baby girl at the beach and they named her "Justice" so maybe I'm just on a "stong name" kick right now...but JETTA is my fav from your list!!
My son's name is Channing.
I love the name Channing...I wish I had thought of it myself! Love it!Natalie
I like Jetta, but will you be happy with "jet" for short? because lots of names tend to get abbreviated by friends, family, schoolmates, etc.I am trying to think of different names as well (I tried to imagine a couple of my favourite names with some of the referral photos I have seen, and none of the names seem to go)so I think that I'm gonna have a pool of names to choose from, and when I see her picture, then I'll decide.
I like Channing too. It is a nice name to write and It has a nice ring to it!! Good luck on your quest for a name - I have had "Isabel" for years!!
I like Channing. Jetta reminds me of the car.But most importantly, YOU have to love the name!Keep smilin!
I can't wait for Channing to be with you and for you both to come to Saskatoon for a visit.
Hi KimWe vote for Channing, makes me think of Stockard Channing a relly great actress. Remember Rizzo in Grease?Anyway, our 2 cents.Take careLiam and Sherry-Lou
Love Channing, too! (I drive a Jetta!) Though now that I think of it, it is a cool name. It's nice to have a name...makes it seem like this crazy adoption journey really does lead you to your child! Then again, Meg Ryan changed her daughters name once she was united. And my SIL always lets us know her "list" of names and then informs us after the babe is born. Good in both methods. Go with your heart.
Well I am only adding my experience. Of the 20 names I had picked ...none fit Lei Jin Fu's photo or character from what I can see. And Jetta reminds me of Jeda ..Star wars. Love Channing.and guess what. I looked on your blog and saw Leissa. I had just picked it as a possiblity for Lei Jin Fu and wondered if you knew the meaning? I cannot find it!So lovely. I wanted something with Lei.... her Chinese name will also be her middle name.enjoy Karla
